Business Strategy Manager

Job Description:

 

Lead and manage strategy related to growth in the SEA region. Create, execute and optimize our business plan expanding in SEA. Secure sponsorship opportunities for companies that have a footprint in best SEA and NA.

 

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

Overall Business Development:

 

  • Craft overall business development strategy to help the company achieve its short/long

  • term goals

  • Creating project plan (timeline, resources, budget and etc) related to each focus to ensure executions 

  • Constantly keeping up to date with current industry trends in gaming, esports and blockchain especially in the SEA region.

  • Coordinate the development or implementation of budgetary control systems, recordkeeping systems, or other administrative control processes.

  • Organize or approve promotional campaigns.

  • Direct or coordinate an organization's financial or budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, or increase efficiency.

  • Direct, plan or implement policies, objectives, or activities of organizations or businesses to ensure continuing operations, to maximize returns on investments, or to increase productivity.

  • Establish departmental responsibilities and coordinate functions among departments and sites.

  • Serve as liaisons between organizations, shareholders, and outside organizations.

Sales

 

  • Assist management team with the execution of strategy for our products from technology to media inventories

  • Create a pipeline of potential companies that have footprints in both Asia and the Americas that we can target and build relationships with

  • Organize or approve promotional campaigns.

  • Monitor customer preferences to determine the focus of sales efforts.

  • Oversee regional and local sales managers and their staff.

  • Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.

Relationships

 

● Build a pipeline of future titles (developers/publishers in SEA) that could be beneficial for our

product roadmap

● Build relationships with professionals teams, owners, and potential brands/sponsors

● Provide analysis and introductions necessary to the success of FirstBlood’s core product

suite (Esports Platform)

Requirements/Skills

 

  • 4+ work experience in blockchain esport industry, early stage startup is experience is a plus

  • A bachelor degree in Business Administration, with a major concentration in Finance(At least 3.7 overall GPA)

  • Strong analytical skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word

  • Structured and strategic mindset; ability to break down complex problems and deliver insights & recommendations to key stakeholders

  • Excellent prioritization and project management skills

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environment with limited direction

  • Strong communication and organization skills
